1920: The Great Gatsby

May some people know, my flavor costume period is around 1920's - Jazz Age. At that time peoples used a lot of bead or sequin to make dress.Can you imagine so adorable.When I was studied, one of my design concept was inpirated by "Jazz Age". My theme was called "Swing". Unfortunately I left some artwork at home so I couldn't share more with my blog follower. 

I am exciting because "The Great Gatsby" is a new movie will be released in 2010, starring by Carey Mulligan and Leonardo DiCaprio. It bring us a look at the Art Deco trend. Emerging as our Tribal Artisan look from the spring/summer 2012 catwalks, it is now being embraced by celebrities, which should translate into party dress inspiration at retail sooner.

I would like to introduce my new loving shopper bag.....it is a plasticcc...nooo....it is a faux leather look-like (plastic shopper size) bag. I made them because I have many fabric leftover and also my duty free plastic bag was damaged. So I just make a new (my own) duty free shopper...

WCMC 2011 - Where Couture Meets the Cue

28 Sep 2011, this charity fashion show has created by Australia Cancer Research Foundation, hosted by Richach Wilkins and Natalie Gruzlewsk. Every single dollar donated from that night would directly to the foundation. How's amazing job there. I went there to worked as volumteer just 2 days after my birthday. I felt fellfuled for my birthday week....haha!!

YA! It was my first time and grateful to be volunteer for this show. I have been helping there for 5 days. You couldn't imagine how much fun in there....Although the show was finished last night but my mood is still in excitatory state....lol!

27 Aug - this show was runway for Research Fashon Targets Breast Cancer. These dress was one of heavy dress, long train, silk and crystal beaded all around front and back. Wow! amaging dress. I heard that all models were volunteer. I'd proud and thankful all of us to do this show. Good job girls!
